IPAC2021 COVID-19 Policies

The IPA Board of Trustees and the IPA Conferences & Events Committee have adopted the following COVID-19 standards for the IPAC2021NV, to be held in a hybrid in-person/virtual format, October 25-27, 2021, in order to remain as inclusive as possible for all providers – while maintaining safe and otherwise proven measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Please bear in mind that the IPA Conferences & Events Committee is closely monitoring COVID-19, as well as the Delta, Lambda and Mu variants and reserves the right to modify and/or expand these policies as necessary to ensure the health and safety of members and staff. IPAC conferences have resumed. However, IPA will not jeopardize the health and safety of our members or their families.

To promote, protect and preserve the health, safety and security of our members, guests, production staff and volunteers, the IPAC conference will include the following protocols as a matter of IPA policy. Upon arrival at IPAC2021NV, attendees, staff and volunteers must:

  • Enter and Pass Through a Screening Process Complete With Temperature Readings
  • Complete a COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire Regarding Travel, Exposures and Testing
  • Wear masks the entire time they are indoors despite their vaccine status – as a matter of policy
  •  Utilize universal precautions and social distancing as appropriate per state guidelines
The only participants who will not be wearing masks at all times will be the presenters/speakers and they will only be exempt while they are working in front of the camera – no less than 15’ from their closest participant – or during outdoor activities if adequate social distancing measures are observed. As we get closer to the event, the IPA Conferences and Events Committee will adjust accordingly to be in total alignment with best practices, and the current trends so as to protect and preserve our communities.
