IPA produces a diverse range of local, regional, national and even international events ranging from board meetings to regional membership meetings, and career development workshops to full on educational conferences, community service workshops and advocacy opportunities, as well as camping trips, hiking adventures, cook outs and family picnics just so IPA members can disconnect from the system, network with their peers, learn to do a better job and live a healthier work-life balance in the process.
Outside of conferences and conference related events, the IPA Conferences & Events Committee maintains a somewhat superficial role in event management by providing standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, platforms and promotional awareness, while localized IPA members contribute time, effort and energy into the overall success of the organization’s local outreach operations – sharing in IPA’s success both reputationally and financially.
